Sreedhar graduated from Osmania University College of Law (LL.B.), Hyderabad in 1993 and holds a Post Graduate degree in Corporate and Securities Laws

(LL.M.). His career of about 22 years spans across wide areas including Legal, Information Technology, Banking (Corporate, Treasury & Retail) sectors. He is the founder-partner of Deccan Global Law Firm, a full services Corporate Law Firm based in Hyderabad.

Before joining Legal profession in the year 2009, he has worked with Barclays Technology Centre (Pune), IBM India (Hyderabad), Oracle Financial Services (Bengaluru), State Bank of India (India & USA) and Department of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax in various positions. During the course of his employment he had the opportunity to work in New York, Hong Kong, Athens (Greece) and Sofia (Bulgaria). During his stint of about six years in Information Technology sector, he was involved in Project Management in testing and implementation of IT products and services, both in India and abroad. He travelled extensively across US & Europe, including U.K., France and Germany.

He takes keen interest in Consulting, Legal Research and Teaching. He advises clients on wide ranging issues relating to Corporate Laws, Information Technology, Intellectual Property matters & Indirect taxation. He is enrolled as an Advocate in Bar Council (for the States of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh). He is member of All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (AIFTP) and also legal adviser to Canara Bank. He is empanelled as Facilitator by the Government of India for Startups under the Scheme for Facilitating Start Ups - Intellectual Property Protection. Besides legal consulting and research, he takes keen interest in teaching & legislative drafting work. He is visiting faculty in NALSAR School of Law, Hyderabad on Laws relating to Information Technology, Cyber Security and Telecommunications.

His multi faceted personality and wide and global work experience is helping him to build a strong Legal team. He brings into legal profession the best practices from his previous assignments with various organizations in India and abroad.

Krishna Grandhi is the founder of Grandhi Law Chambers (GLC), a multi-disciplinary law firm in Hyderabad, India. He is an Attorney-at-Law registered to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio, and a Patent and Trademark Attorney registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

He is also dual qualified to practice as an Advocate before the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, and as a Trademark Attorney before the Indian Trademark Office. Krishna is uniquely positioned in the Indian legal market, as one of the select few U.S. Patent Attorneys who live and work out of India, who are also dual-qualified as Indian lawyers.

In his practice at GLC, Krishna is probably best known as an outside general counsel to organizations of all sizes, from startups to multi-national companies. As a litigator, he specializes in corporate commercial litigation, media & entertainment litigation, white-collar defense and Intellectual Property (IP), with experience in handling contentious IP issues that involve cross-border IP litigation. As part of his transactional practice, Krishna has drafted a wide-variety of patent applications in cutting-edge technologies, negotiated complex technology agreements, counseled on IP commercialization activities, undertook IP due diligence in M&A deals, provided IP opinions, and helped companies generate and sustain worldwide legal strategy.

In addition to his legal practice, Krishna serves as a Mentor in Virtual Residence at the Johnson School of Business at Cornell University, USA, to help mentor startup companies with legal issues. Grandhi Law Chambers is one of the three law firm partners for Hyderabad-based T-Hub, which is India's largest incubator for startups and a unique public/private partnership between the state government, 3 of India’s premier academic institutes (IIIT-H, ISB & NALSAR), and key private sector leaders.

Krishna received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from Cleveland State University, Doctor of Jurisprudence (Law) from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.

In 2016, Krishna has been recognized as one of “40 under 40” Law Firm Rising Stars in India, at the LegalEra Gen Next Awards in Mumbai.
