ABOUT THE TRAINING & PLACEMENT CELL:

The Training & Placement Cell (T&P Cell) of Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad is dedicated to ensuring the holistic development of every student. It strives to provide enriching out-of-classroom learning experiences that complement the academic curriculum and align with contemporary industry requirements.

The Cell bridges the gap between academia and the professional world by exposing students to real-time corporate and legal environments.

It provides state-of-the-art facilities for conducting Group Discussions, Selection Tests, Personal Interviews, and other recruitment processes. The T&P Cell actively liaises with law firms, corporate houses, practicing advocates, solicitors, NGOs, think tanks, and research organizations to facilitate meaningful career opportunities for students.

OBJECTIVES

• To bridge the gap between industry expectations and academic learning.

• To organize and support collaborative placement activities.

• To groom students to meet corporate expectations and secure opportunities in reputed organizations based on their career aspirations.

• To conduct training programmes focused on:

  • Campus placements

  • Internships

  • Career planning

  • Personality development

  • Industry–academia interaction

  • Industrial visits

  • Entrepreneurship development

• To maintain continuous engagement with alumni through the Symbiosis Centre for Alumni Engagement

OUTCOME

The primary goal of the T&P Cell is to enhance student employability by providing platforms for practical exposure through summer and winter internships. It also serves as an interface between the students and a wide range of organizations seeking young legal professionals. Through guest lectures, seminars, industry visits, workshops, skill-development programmes, and final placements, the Cell ensures that students are industry-ready and well-equipped to begin successful careers.

PLACEMENT PROCESS

The Placement Season begins in the last week of July and continues until March every academic year.

The T&P Cell organizes recruitment activities including:

• Invitation to recruiters

• Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs)

• Placement Drives

The Cell operates based on a dynamic policy framework that is reviewed annually, along with a set of fixed rules that remain consistent. A Student Placement Committee, comprising representatives from the B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B., and LL.M programmes, actively supports the functioning of the Cell.
