Prior to joining Symbiosis International University’s Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, in the month of April 2015, Dr. M. I. Baig already had a vast experience of 32 years of service. Out of which 12 years in Corporate sector as Administrative Officer and 20 years of teaching Law (LL.B & LL.M. courses) in Dr. Ambedkar College of Law, Aurangabad, affiliated to Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. (NAAC-A Grade), where he last worked as Director, P.G. Studies in Law.

Dr. M. I. Baig, being a recognized UG & PG Teacher in Law, also worked as Chairman/ Member of various Statutory Bodies like Board of Studies, Pre-Affiliation & Affiliation Committees, Syllabus Committees, Research Progress Committee, Director, CAS, Dr. BAMU, and V.C. Nominee on Selection Committees of different Universities, etc.

He has participated in several UGC Sponsored Orientation / Refresher Courses. He has presented several papers in National and International Seminars, Conferences and Workshops and was invited as Chairman / Resource Person. He has a number of Articles published in various Law Journals. Dr. M. I. Baig is a recognized guide for Ph.D. in Law in four different universities. M.V. Chandramathi

Assistant Professor, (Law)

M.V. Chandramathi is associated with the Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad since 2014. She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the Osmania University, L.L.B degree from Sri Krishna Deva Raya University, L.L.M International Law from Osmania University. She is pursuing her Ph.D from the NALSAR University. She has begun her career as an Advocate since 1992, and later took to teaching in P.R.R. Law College, Ameerpet Hyderabad in 2001, and joined Pendekanti Law College, Hyderabad in the year 2005 and continued till 2014.

Ms Richa Jain is an alumna of Symbiosis International University and has done LLM in Intellectual Property Rights from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She obtained her bachelor's degree in BA. LLB (Hon) with First Division from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. Prior to joining Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad as a Teaching Assistant in 2016, she was practicing as an advocate in the field of Intellectual Property, Technology and Media law. She has also taught LLM and Judiciary aspirants as a guest faculty in New Delhi. She pursued Certificate Courses in Intellectual Property Rights and Information Technology from WIPO, Geneva in 2015 and from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi in 2013. P. Jayaraju

Mr. P. Jayaraju pursued his Masters (Ancient Indian History) at the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has pursued his M.Phil. (Titled: ‘Social Dynamics in Medieval Andhradesa: A Case study of Kakatiyas’) at the Department of History, University of Hyderabad and had also qualified UGC-NET (2001). He has around 10 years of teaching experience at various institutions. His earlier work experience includes a stint as the Head, Department of History at Narayana IAS Academy and teaching History at the Pendekanti Law College, Hyderabad. He had simultaneously taught Civil Services aspirants at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Study Circle, Hyderabad as a Visiting faculty.

Dr. Pamidi Ashok Kumar did his M.L from S.V University Tirupati. He did his Ph.D from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded in 2011. He was having more than 27 years of teaching and administrative experience. He worked as Principal at Montessori Mahila College of law, Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh for 13 years, Senior lecturer at S.V.College of law Tirupati Shivaji law college Pune Senior lecturer and Principal in-charge at K.G.A. law college Shrirampur, and worked as Principal at Marathwada Mitramandal law College Pune and Shri Omkarnath Malpani Law college Sangamner (M.S) He is an approved Ph.D guide of Pune university and 4 Students were registered for Ph.D under his guidance. He received best teacher award and Gold Medal from the Management of Montessori Mahila college of Law Vijayawada 1996. Presently he is working as an Associate Professor in Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad since 26th March 2015.

Mr R Radhakrishnan

Assistant Professor

Mr R Radhakrishnan pursued his M.Phil and MA at the Centre for Political Studies (CPS), Jawaharlal Nehru University. He had cleared his University Grants Commission-National Education Test (UGC-NET) in Political Science in December 1999. He is presently pursuing his PhD at the Department of Politics and Public Administration, University of Pune. The topic for his doctoral research is “Political Communication as Soft Power: Role of Media in India’s Foreign Policy”.

His past experience range from working in a think-tank, Political Office, teaching at various institutions dealing with political leadership, Media and communication and the National Defence Academy, in Pune.

Dr Dibyakusum Ray

Assistant Professor

Dr. Dibyakusum Ray got his PhD from English Literature from English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), his area being German Aesthetics and South Asian Indigenous Literature. He obtained his M.A. and M.Phil from the School of English Studies, EFLU, Hyderabad, and has been a visiting scholar at the University of Potsdam, Germany. His primary interest lies in European aesthetic traditions and postcolonial theory. His research tries to understand the development of ‘liminality’ as an aesthetic-philosophical concept. He has published in edited volumes and has presented his writings in Jaipur Literary Festival, India, Emory University, USA, and Technische Universitat Dresden, Germany where he has undertaken research as part of an exchange program.

Ms K. Shanthi

Assistant Professor

Ms K. Shanthi pursued her Bachelors in Law from Andhra Mahila Sabha College of Law for Women, Osmania University. She also did her Bachelors in Science from Pragathi Degree College for Women, Osmania University. She pursued her Masters in Science (Botany) from Sarojini Naidu vanitha Mahavidyalaya, OU and Masters in Business Management (Marketing Management as Specialization) from Department of Business Management, Kakatiya University. Dr. Sukhvinder Singh Dari

Dr. Sukhvinder Singh Dari has a Ph.D. in Corporate Laws from Symbiosis International University, Pune. He is an alumnus of Symbiosis and has done his LL. M (Business Law) from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. He had pursued his BA. LL.B from the Nagpur University and holds Diploma in Human Resource Management & Labour Laws, and Diploma in Corporate Mergers and Acquisition. Dr. Singh has been with the Symbiosis Law School, since 2007. Prior to joining the Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad he was with Symbiosis Law School, Pune and NOIDA. During his time at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, he worked as an Assistant Professor, Placement Officer, Member of Symbiosis Centre for Legal Care and In-Charge of European Union Legal Studies.

Mr. Abhijit D Vasmatkar

Assistant Professor (LL.M, LL.B, B.Sc, NET)

Mr. Abhijit D Vasmatkar has obtained his bachelor's degree in science with distinction from Shri. Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. He being one of the aspirants to pursue law as a career joined Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2002. His inclination towards research prompted him to pursue Masters in Criminal Laws (LL.M) from Symbiosis International University, Pune. He was awarded the "Chancellor's Gold Medal" for standing first in LL.M. and honoured with 'Nani Palkhiwala Gold Medal' for academic excellence in December 2008. He qualified UGC-NET in June 2009.
His inclination towards Research and Teaching helped him to find a position in the faculty of Symbiosis Law School, Pune. In the capacity of Assistant Professor, he taught various courses to the undergraduates, postgraduates and diploma students. Presently, he taught International Economic Law and Legal Education & Legal Research Methodology to under graduates and postgraduates, respectively.
He attended many National and International Conferences on several aspects of Law. He was recently appointed on a prestigious "ICCR Rotating Chair-2010-11" sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to undergo research and teaching at the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany for the period of six months. As a part of it, he addressed many colloquiums, conferences and symposiums. His research work on Comparative study of Juvenile Justice in different cultural contexts has been published in an International Journal 'Zis-online'.
Mr. Vasmatkar has attended various Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and FDPs at the National Level and is actively involved in research activities of the institute. Presently, he is working with SLS, Hyderabad by being transferred from SLS, Pune and playing an instrumental role in taking the ethos and culture of symbiosis further.




Assistant Professor, LL.M (NLSIU Bangalore) UGC-NET

Ms. Ambrina Khan after obtaining her bachelor’s degree in commerce with distinction, joined Allahabad University for pursuing a career in law, and graduated in the year 2011. She also won a gold medal for scoring highest marks in graduation. As a next step in her professional life, in order to use her undergraduate degree as the foundation to expand and enrich her knowledge, she joined a LL.M in National Law School of India University, Bangalore, one of the premier law universities in India, where she specialized in Human Rights Law and graduated in the year 2013. She also qualified UGC-NET in December, 2013.
Her immense drive to work for the just cause of the society by imparting legal knowledge to the upcoming generation and building legal literacy prompted her to purse her teaching career and therefore she joined the Northcap University (Formerly ITM University) Gurgaon as Assistant Professor at School of Law in July,2013. She was given opportunity to teach various subjects of her specialization such as Human Rights Law and Practices, Family law and International Humanitarian Law. She also undertook the responsibility of organizing various conferences and seminars as well as guiding several in-house research projects.
Her inclination towards excellence helped her find a position in the faculty of Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad in June 2016, where she is working as Assistant Professor presently.
She attended many National and International Conferences on several aspects of Law and has also published few research papers in reputed law journals. As a human rights protagonist she has filed several Public Interest litigation for helping the needy, she has also worked with NGOs where she has reported cases of human rights violations and worked towards imparting justice to those who are denied access to it.
Ms. Khan has attended various Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and FDPs at the National Level and is actively involved in research activities of the institute.


Ms. Afrin Khan

Assistant, LLM, B.L.S., LL.B

Ms Afrin Khan is an alumna of Symbiosis International University and has done LLM in Human Rights from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She obtained her bachelor's degree in B.L.S. LL.B from S.V.K.M’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai. After her LL.M, she worked as a legal consultant with an NGO in the human rights field, before joining Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad as a Teaching Assistant in 2016. She has a P.G Diploma in Media Laws from NALSAR PRO and a certificate course on Environmental Law and Policy. Her broad research interest is in International Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law.

He was British Chevening Scholar at SOAS in 2015-16. Prior to this he worked as Associate Professor of Law and Registrar at National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA), Lecturer at School of Law, National University of Ireland, Galway and worked as Legal Adviser to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Regional Delegation for South Asia, New Delhi, India and also worked as Research Associate at the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL). He published several research articles and three books in the field of international humanitarian law and international aviation and space law. He presented several research papers in national and international conference and workshop; he has been invited by various UGC Academic Staff colleges in India to deliver lecturers in the UGC Refresher and Orientation Programmes. Mr. Amit Hedau has obtained his C.F.A. from ICFAI, Tripura in 2009. He has done his M.B.A (Finance) from Nagpur University in 2012. He is UGC-NET qualified and submitted his thesis at Nagpur University in 2016. He has also cleared the certification course “Certified Financial Planner” from Financial Planning Standard Board, India.

He has worked as Research Associate at Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur and Assistant Professor at DAIMSR, Nagpur. He has published few papers in national and international journals and conducted sessions in MDPs organized by MSME. His area of interest includes Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Management Accounting, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management and Financial Planning.
